#Fx10 Bus in Hyderabad ||10/11/2014

Hi Friends,
First of all let me wish Firefox a Happy B’Day! And to celebrate this, we – Mozilla Hyderabad – organized and toured Hyderabad on behalf of Mozilla India. We gathered at our community space at 7:00 A.M. and immediately declared our Independent Choice yet again. After that, we started packing all the things that were to be taken with us. At 8:00 A.M., we headed for our breakfast at a nearby hotel. After coming back, we started discussing on some key points to be kept in mind while interacting with other people, interviewing the people, answering people’s questions, and much more. After all the discussions, it was time for some real fun. We all danced on Gangnam Style, Hakim Shake, I like to move it and many more. We had a lot of other fun activities too!
This continued till 1:00 P.M. when the bus arrived. As soon as the bus arrived, we went to a nearby restaurant and had our lunch quickly and started off for the tour. We went to places like Golconda Fort – one of the most historic forts of India, Hitech City – The techy part of the city, Hussain Sagar Lake – One of the tourist attractions, and many more places. We took interviews of people at various locations and had photos of them with them declaring their Independent Choice.
This took place till 7:00 P.M. after which we went to Eat Street – A place to gather and have parties – where we had a cake cutting. We had a small child over there who sang the birthday song to wish Firefox on it’s 10th birthday! Then we continued on our trip and went to IMAX – the best film theater in Hyderabad and a very famous tourist attraction. Here, we had a few photos of people declaring their independent choice and then we had our dinner from McDonalds there B| Then we started for our homes.
The next day, again we gathered in our community space at 6:30 A.M. We continued our #fx10 bus tour as we went to Charminar – The pearl place of the city and one of the 7 wonders of India! from where we took photos of declaring Independent Choice and headed to Mecca Masjid – the oldest mosque in Hyderabad And one of the largest Mosques in India where we did the same activities. We then had a cup of tea and then started back at around 8:45 A.M.
P.S. The celebration of Firefox completing 10 years was at it’s best in India and especially in Hyderabad. It was filled with fun and interactions with people from different backgrounds. The tour helped us understand the power of Mozilla Firefox in Hyderabad as many people came forward to declare their Independent Choice.

Regards,
Sudarshan

Firefox OS stall @ IGR | Day 3

And Here comes the final day of IGR. As expected, we turned up too early to witness what we had experienced in the previous 2 days. The Stall was still filled with lots of excitement and Happiness about the final day. We already started to think about the post-IGR Plans and also rejoicing the moments of those 3 amazing days.

As this was the last day of IGR, there was a huge tsunami of people who turned up. We were all ready to showcase Firefox OS to all the attendees. Like the 1st and 2nd day, we kept a lot of chocolates, swags, and had our Foxy roaming around the venue to attract more people.People really Loved it. I personally enjoyed a lot of cute and amazing moments when a few kids come and say hello to the foxy while a few kids gets scared and try to hide behind their Mom’s. Kids these days know everything about the Smartphones more then what Their Dad Knows.I Had a few adorable moments when kids start to pour in and ask if Firefox OS got their favorite 2048 Game and apps like Facebook,Twitter etc and I proudly answer them with a “Yes”. That Yes Moment,I Still Remember.

                                              http://c4.staticflickr.com/8/7574/15525556179_ca5bfb4400_z.jpg

The Day went on with tons and tons of people and also a lot of Indian celebrities. It Reflected the Sunday Fever at the Gadget Rush.In addition to the Gadget rush I found the Food So delicious during this time.Either the Cook might be a great one or may be the Hunger and Late Evening Lunches made me to like the food.
Finally, we packed everything up and wrapped up the event after some Foxy dance and Entertainment. It is like Indians Never end anything without the Actual Celebrations.
P.S. It was the first stall set up by Mozilla Hyderabad and this helped us realize our true capability in organizing these type of events. Our stall saw a prodigious number of attendees of about 30,000 people.
I Know it might seem a bit of Disturbance to see many P.S in this blog cz I didnt get how to end Narrating each day of Awesomeness.
Thanks a lot to the whole team who helped in all the ways and made it amazing :)

This time, it was much  more efficient as more and more people started asking us to sell our phones immediately.
We all were too much involved into this that we forgot about our lunch.
Finally it was Foxy time…!! People were very excited. Almost each and every individual got attracted by Foxy. And Foxy took some selfie’s too..
